^^ lol....I'm amazed that Ford got the govt contract to supply vehicles before this happened. At this point I would imagine all govt cars will be GM/Chrysler......

This will be interesting for Ford......I hope they don't get squeezed out

That too me is a real big problem. There's definitely a conflict of interest here. The playing field needs to be kept level.

Personally I'd rather see the government hand money to Ford as a grant and as a reward for not going under and hosing the taxpayers as opposed to dumping bailout money on GM and Chrysler. Not that I'm endorsing handing out of any money by the government.

It’s not a fair system, that’s for sure. Much like the welfare system, the middle class get screwed and the poor benefits from it.
