I will take someone with street smarts and common sense over education anytime. As long as he knows the color RED and understands what the symbol - (minus) is, he will do just fine at GM.

That too me is a real big problem. There's definitely a conflict of interest here. The playing field needs to be kept level.

Personally I'd rather see the government hand money to Ford as a grant and as a reward for not going under and hosing the taxpayers as opposed to dumping bailout money on GM and Chrysler. Not that I'm endorsing handing out of any money by the government.
