They're two completely different cars. A fully modded 335 without upgrading turbos pushes ~400whp. The new M3's with bolt ons, just bolt ons, pushes more.

They are the epitome of their class, and also perfectly exemplify premium luxury. They are extravagant premium sedans full of luxury, but also boasting tremendous performance. IMHO any serious world-class luxury brand needs one. I hope Lexus is coming out with a full-fledged LS-F in the future, not just F-Sport parts.

lol yeah those wheels should be the first to go

indeed i'd want to see what a heavy m7 can do specially on handling. considering what i drive now and have seen what m5 is capable of! power is secondary imho for bmw, balance is #1

Oh, yeah, I've seen them too. I live in a place where people are rich. I can usually spot 1 or 2 any 63 or 65 in one day. They are fast, but kinda pointless..

if no one said it before, i'll say it:

It's so sad how the X5 M and the X6 M came to being before the M 7.

Yes. There should never have been an M 7 in the first place because it doesn't fit into M's philosophy.

There philosophy now is, "Milk the M badge for all it's got. It's worked for M-B and AMG."

M philosophy has always been to never FI any of their engines. That has now changed as well. Who knows what's next....

m philosophy historically has been certain performance aspect and numbers on the track. if their cars can't achieve those perspective then they wouldn't bother with the m version of that vehicle. bmw CLEARLY stated that before, and that's exactly where they didn't have the m7 even when people repeatedly asked for it, let alone the SUVs. bmw also stated before that the m cars should/would be NA engines instead of FI. these were all words from bmw, not off the street

but obviously we all know that they will likely have FI for m cars in the next generation. next we saw the unbelievable x5/6 m, and now the rumor m7. to me this is clearly marketing over m division true meaning. m3/m5/m6 they all came pretty close on the track, putting fantastic numbers. now i am pretty skeptical the x5/6 m can do something similar.

The M badge is more than just marketing & sales. Vehicles with that badge better perform like an M for those who seek M.

err, excuse me, but what's in that video that shows it come close to the m3/m5? it's just like what it's, a promotional video.

i didn't say anywhere in my post that x5/6 m is just a normal x5/6 with bigger engine and wider wheels, i am not stupid. i am sure they beef up a lot of things, just like the m63 from mb. however, that doesn't put them in the same performance as m3/m5

"better" perform like an m? tell me when it's proven then i will believe. there is a reason why m division refused to do m7 and m suv for years, they aren't stupid either
