Car totaled, purchased back from Insurance, now what?

Car totaled, purchased back from Insurance, now what?
So my sister's Integra was rear ended a month ago. The other guy's insurance company checked out the car and totaled it. I chose to buy it back. Now I have some questions.
1. What would happen to the title? Would DMV send me a salvage title?
2. If I sell the car, and the new owner fixed the damage and registered the car, will they receive a salvage title?
3. What do I do with the registration if I decide to part out the car?

I just bought back a car from my ins company recently.
The DMV will send you a letter detailing how to get it back on the road if u choose to do it. They will request that u send in the 'Clean' title, in return for a 'salvaged' one.
Do not try to sell the car fixed or not with that original 'clean' title. Theres a lot of charges that can b thrown at u for doing so.
