Uh, A v6 camry could beat a 552hp bentley when you're screwing around in traffic on city streets not on a straight drag or highway.
After you have a decent amount of power it's about who is crazier, and has more guts, not necessarily which car has more HP.
Start running through lights/stop signs, weaving, using the shoulder/and other questionable unsafe practices and straight HP doesn't matter so much. Of course then you end up like this story.

So I take this at face value and just think the girl thought she was "Stella Bridger" (Charlize Theron) for a bit, it's a jump for me to think that just because she died, she's somehow innocent and a victim and it's because of the "angry ex"
