The Press Release is from Infiniti too isn't it? At least they aren't calling it the M45h a la the GS450h. That would've been outright blatant.

Whats the price? Can you share performance specs? How big is the trunk? Is it faster? Has it been reviewed here? Please share these important details!I think on paper the specs are great and I endorse this blend of tech since I am a consumer of it.
If they say 30 MPG it probably get get 34-35 with some real good driving on the highway which is pretty amazing for this size car with this much power.Sadly I don't expect much in the form of a well thought out post from Nissan fanbois who never gave the GSh any due and now are falling over the M35h

Amazing, a brand new car nearly 5 years after a worlds first has gasp, 20 more hp with an Ion battery and 4 more MPG. Then the new GSh will debut in a year and we will see a nice power hybrid battle.

Makes you wonder why the GS and LS hybrids have not gotten more attention (from Lexus that is). I realize that the RX is popular vehicle in general, but the RXh does quite well. One would think that the GS and LS would recieve updates to their HSD given the cost of these vehicles.

Apart from that, Continental European markets (under the jurisdiction of Infiniti Europe) get the M30d Diesel model (since they don't sell the M56 over there)....

It's official: Infiniti's 2012 M35h Hybrid is the only vehicle in North America, at least for the time being, to offer 350-plus horsepower and 30-plus miles per gallon on the highway. The M35h has received its official EPA fuel economy rating of 27/32 mpg city/highway, with a combined rating of 29 mpg.
The Infiniti M35h features a 3.5-liter Atkinson-cycle V6 engine, paired with a 50-kW electric motor that's powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. Combined, the gasoline-fueled engine and electric motor crank out 360 horsepower.
The M35h's fuel economy rating compares favorably to that of base M37 model, which sports a 3.7-liter, 330-horsepower V6 and achieves 18/26 mpg city/highway with a combined rating of 21 mpg. Additionally, the M35h's fuel economy trumps the 22/25 mpg city/highway-rated Lexus GS 450h, a competitive hybrid model.
Pricing for the 2012 Infiniti M35 Hybrid has not been announced. The gas-electric sedan is expected to hit dealer showrooms this spring.
