Crazy my fam has an old 95 929 that is on its last leg (been a great car) but gets 19 MPG so I can't trade it. However the 1999 RX 300 AWD can get traded in.

You can just imagine what that $4500 general credit, plus the Alternate-fuel-vehicle tax credits, plus Hybrid-HOV priviledges, plus the additional deductions for state sales taxes and auto-loan interest are going to do for Fusion Hybrid sales. Like the 2010 Camaro, I think they are going to have the entire-year model run sold out way in advance. I'm glad I got to review the one I did, when I did.

 

I haven't really paid attention to this program, but is the $3500 or $4500 credit in addition to what the used car/trade in value of your car is? I just plugged in my GS430 and I'm eligible for the $4500 credit, but I better get at least trade in value in addition to that $4500 credit as well. No way would I trade in my car for $4500, unless its value + $4500 in addition.
