No.....I'm going to jump in on this one before 1SICKLEX does.

Although he and I disagree on a several points in the Honda/Acura world, this one of the areas where he and I agree.....the new TL is Fugly

However, it does seem to be well-built, at least IMO, and its new 2010 interior, though disappointing compared to the 2009, is not as much of a letdown as that of the new TSX.

Now, Mike............go to it

I am not a huge fan of the new TL styling, but I saw one on 20's at the stock height and looked damn good

DJ I should ban for wishing that evil on me ? Too much July 4th bar-b-que beer?

I've unfortunately seen a couple as of late and they have grown on me like nuclear waste has grown on me. I would rather eat nuclear waste than be caught dead in one.

I was reading a report that showed 87% of owners are legally blind the other 13%

are named "Mongo" and are tied between two trees when not in the TL.

+1, new TL is butt fugly (and i'm a previous TL owner). like mike, i would not be caught dead in the new TL unless it had major surgery!

The last TL is beautiful. Its really showing how good of a design it is as time passes. It is a classy vehicle and you would be hard pressed to know its an Accord based FWD car. Here is a pic of a Type-S at a meet I was at Thursday. Looked great, dropped with 20" 8.5 wheels all around. All the car guys were looking at it and complimented it. Some guy brought up "have you seen the new TL, with the face" and everyone blasted how ugly it was. One said it looked like a wrecked Saturn. I didn't even have to say anything, everyone else did it for me!

You can now get new TL SH-AWD with TEch for around 37-38k with no issues! This car is not even a year old!

I think TL SH-AWD is a cheaper, bit uglier/less elegant GS350 awd. The TL has bunch of tech and bunch of power. Specs pretty much identical to the GS.

Basically a poor man's Lexus GS IMO, except it ain't that much cheaper... the only advantage with the GS is looks, for me (more civil, less in yo face)..

The first thing I would do is paint the hideous grille ,and the big chrome trim on the trunk, other than that, I like the car

Your opinion is not alone. Acura dealerships, on request, are doing just that.......painting the grille for their customers.

Well, that's just CAR CHAT...the reason this forum is named that.

For instance, how many times does FKL bring up VWs, DASHOCKER bring up BMWs, Mike (1SICK) get on new Acuras, or even me bringing up the issue of automotive image and stereotype? That's just the nature of this forum.
