I'm surprised that its outselling production because there were three of them on the lot at the dealership I went to.

It was indeed visually unappealing, I was so very disappointed.

I briefly remembered you like it (I guess in pictures)-no?

I haven't seen one yet but the G convert is nice

Good info about the usable trunk space on the IS-C though

I saw a white IS250C sitting in the dealership showroom near my home a couple days ago, the only one they have. Not ugly, but the rear end is not too appealing ...

It isn't with the top up to me, especially the side view, and I never like the G37c compared to the G35c to begin with ...

the rear look of the is-c at dealership with the top up still gives me terrible eye sore, that completely kills the car for me (and let's face it, top down might look ok, but you drive with top up most of the time)

I dont mind certain ragtops. The Bentley Continental, Audi A5 ( and S4 when they produced it), Jaguar XK8, MB SLR all look pretty damn good with ragtops IMO.

Its pretty clear that Lexus chose practicality over design when they were given the green light to produce the IS-C. Its a convertible that will appeal to a greater amount of people because of the trunk space and rear seat room. However the overall design obviously suffered. I just wish it looked more like the stunning LF-C Concept the IS line was supposedly based off of.

Its great that its selling well regardless of what many here think of it design wise. Overall its not a bad vehicle, and people are obviously finding value in its other merits.

Honestly I'm expecting the 3IS-C to look better than this one. Even though they had plenty of time, the vert seems to be a bit of a rush job. The 2IS looks best as a sedan because it was designed to be a sedan...a sedan with pitiful legroom, but a sedan nonetheless

Yes sadly, I waited a loooooong time for this car to come out!

When the first pictures were finally released, I think I was the only one who liked it on CL?

The pictures looked good to me and it looked good in person at the L.A. Auto Show - top down both times btw.

Once I test drove it I was horrified and.....it all went downhill from there. lol

I'm trying my best to stay loyal to Lexus but they're making it difficult for me.........

The trunk is about the same size as the SC, a bit smaller? Either way, trunk capacity sucks.

Enough of my rant, as you can read I am still bitter. lol

I just found out that they based the car off a solara...is that true? say it aint so. It shouldn't have been called an is-c then. it should've had its own new name.
