Edmunds has it at 6.4 sec, 8.4 sec for the IS250-C.

Despite the setbacks and the restrictions, I think Chief Engineer Furiyama and his team executed this vehicle well for what they had.

This is the ISc I like the most for obvious reasons:

I didn't see him claim how slow those German cars I posted in Europe must be. Of course he picked on the IS 250.....

I think the key here is that they made the ISC 2.5 inches longer, which gave it more of a up scale look.

That's for the sedan though. (unless I'm looking in the wrong spot)

I did find this comparo between the C70 vs 328Ci. It doesn't exactly state the 0-60 but they say it's 1 second faster than the 7.6 put up by the C70. 0.2 seconds more for the hard top is nothing to sneeze at .

The length is added to the rear end, to fit the roof assembly and allow space for the rear cargo section.

maybe a side benefit but i'm sure the primary reason is so you can fit more than a paperback in the trunk.

With the top up, the trunk is very roomy. Almost better than the sedan's due to the wider stance.

And unlike it's competitors, the IS-C has a temporary spare tire, not run flat tires (3-Series) nor a cheap can of Fix-a-Flat tire-repair kit (G37C).

Really. A cheap can of Fix-a-Flat tire-repair kit for the G37C...

I agree, a can of fix a flat or runflat tires does not replace a need for a spare tire. There will be time when a flat is unfixable. Those temp. flat tire kits are a joke on a car in this price range. I understand some BMW dont even come with the kit or a spare and that Toyota is still using those temp repair kits on cars with runflats.

Looked at a silver 250C at dealer this morning. What a chore it must be keeping those white seats clean
