The owner of this 599 is no other than Lapo Elkann (from what I hear he is the Fiat heir)

Thats pretty interesting to say the least

The 599 looks nice in the flat/matt-blue finish

This is not the first use of denim material as car upholstery.

Most of you guys are probably not old enough to remember it, but, in the early 1970's, American Motors offered a Gremlin subcompact with Blue-Jean denim material on the seats. It was heavily advertised on TV, with teen-age girls, as the "Car That Wears Pants", with a matching denim-blue paint job.

A marketing partnership with Levi's! I remember it well.

Damn he messed that car up!!!!!! The rich are crazy. I once saw a teenager in Bel Aire driving a convertible Rolls Royce with flower stickers all over it.

Sometime in the late '70's to early '80's Camaro's had this as an upholstery color. I had the bunks in my boat re-upholstered with it for a brushed denim look, and with red piping against a white "fur" cabin liner, it was gorgeous. It also proved to be soft, durable, and very comfortable for sleeping, as opposed to the OEM burlap upholstery that was like spending the night in a cactus patch.

Was this a factory package? I clearly remember the Levi/Denim AMC Gremlin, but not any Camaros.
