Seems like a smaller version of the new 7 series thats already out.




Looks like it has some potential to be better than the E60 5-series. HOpefully it'll go back to the days of looking great like the E39 5 series.

 

looks promising... more conservative and less polarizing than the current one.

Fixed Kinda Volvo S80ish there..but can't see much with camo...it will be softer, bigger headlights, grill, halo lights....I mean we know where its going

 

That looks very boring. I'll give the current one its due - I wasn't sure about it when it first came out but as the years have gone on I've grown to like it more and more. If the new one is as boring looking as the current 3-series that'll be BMW off my radar for a long time.

As a current owner of the e60 (550i/Sports Pkg) I obviously love the looks of my car, and get compliments galore. I admit, it looks MUCH better in person than in photos. Nothing like a big German sedan though...

I like the new 7 (does anyone else see a lot of the e39 in the new 7?) a lot, and if the new 5 looks like it; I'm sure I'll love it.

 

this spy shot looks just like the renderings.

the only thing missing now is the rear end.

I personally like the hawk eyes and smaller kidneys on the current gen 5.

now bmw is going for the pig snout theme

 

The front grille is too upright, almost perpendicular to the ground, like the new 7, no good.

 

I can't see enough to reach any conclusion, but I'm hopeful.

 

i like polarizing look better for BMW, leave conservative for Lexus, and classy for Mercedes
