Serves this idiot right! I hate people that throw lit cigs out their windows, here it's a $1000 fine and I see it all the time.

Many smokers can tell horror stories of tossing a cigarette out a closed window or flicking it out the front window only to have it return via the back window. If you happen to notice, the usual procedure is having the burning butt roll out of sight on the floor. Worse, you drop your lit cigarette into your lap and have it roll between your legs. If you haven't done it yet, you will.

The resulting dance is worthy of a YouTube video, but when the situation presents itself you are usually alone and preoccupied with the solution. I once sneezed a pipe bowl full of burning leaves ("Sail" Dutch tobacco, as I recall) into the droptop of a buddy's Austin Healey, scattering them through the cabin on a cold December day out on Highway 71. Not my finest hour, swatting at burning embers that ricocheted off the top and shot in all directions. Quickly pulling off the road and bailing out, I discovered I'd destroyed a classic corduroy car coat, but did no damage to the interior of an extraordinary classic car.
