I hardly ever see a good midcycle refresh. Usually the automaker makes it look even more crazy ugly just for the sake of making it look DIFFERENT.

different. not necessarily prettier.

The only good refresh I can remember is the current infiniti M35.


look what they did to the camry



Lexus is no better.

Look at the huge chrome parrot beak they put on the GS.
and they made the ISx50 chrome grille shaped like flapping birds' wings.

i like all the pre-refresh designs better.

oh, and mazda's superhappy face....

i have no problem with the Camry refresh.

The Lexus GS and IS refreshes look good to me....

Funny how the mid-cycle refresh for the LS 430 drastically upgraded it's appeal. Most Lexus refreshes are pretty lame...

That's really the only thing they changed




....aside from painting the lower part of the rear bumper and uglifying the steering wheel (looks like a framed booby). Oh, and the fugly 08+ 18" wheels.

? front and rear bumper both got changed, also the side turn signals. the new bumpers look a lot more aero-dynamic than the old ones

I tend to like the 2010 Camry more. That pig nose is less pronounced. LED rear lights IMO look better also.

The 2010 Camry SE looks a lot better...I have seen a few of them on the road and they're SHARP

MMCs can make drastic differences for the better if done right....case and point:



from a jetta to an audi in one model year. Hard to believe they are the same car.
