I'm a big fan of the GTR, but after finally seeing one in person, they could've done a better job on the styling. Sure it was made to slice thru air, but I think it's too bulky. I liked the original rendering. Make it like this http://www.wallpapersmania.com/wallp...1193/1280x960/ and I'm sure people will like it better. Myself included.

Quite frankly, that front end is ugly. GTR will never be a pretty car.

Around here, GTR's don't turn heads as much as expected. Of course "enthusiast-types" spot it easily, but the general public isn't that impressed. From the back those super-sized tailpipes standout even to the visually impaired.

Yeah i've seen several GT-R's around the bay area. And to me, its just another "fast car" I dont like how the gt-r looks, and its huge in person. I dont know... when i look at a GT-R i dont get the wow factor, i just move on

 

I don't mind the front bumper (minus DJ's mack truck teeth) simply b/c the stock one with the area under the headlight is so damn plain.

That hood is too much......it is waterproof somehow, right???

 

Not only is it just another fast car, because we take them casually around here, it's not especially attractive or sleek either.

 

Never really has been a pretty car. Always been an aggressive, almost anti-pretty, car. And its that which always appealed to me.

On the modified one posted, wheels are too big, too many vents, and just generally too busy. Functionally, it suffers too. The vents would theoretically kill the C/D and the flares, and the wheels would weigh a ton. That all said, its still interesting

The GTR was built to be fast not pretty . The form follows function on the car.
