As the title states...

I won't spoil it, so I will just say, "Interesting outcome".

saw this few days ago... ZR1 is beast, but I'll take the quality GT2 over the Vette.

For the price I'd have the Corvette, though the GT2 is definitely a nice piece of machinery.

Vettes IMO for the most part do nothing for me. They could be faster than a Veyron and I would still pick the lesser car.

I think they need a better driver for the ZR1. R&T drivers managed to achieve 0-60 in 3.3 and the 1/4 mile in 11.4.

Exactly as I view it. The Vette's capabilities are great, but for big bucks I prefer the Porsche.

damn those porsche engineers have their stuff together. I am very impressed. I thought the ZR1 was going to butcher the GT2. I am surprised at how well the porsche got off the line. It almost made it look like you dont need AWD

+1... unless you're looking for a collectible... 1,415 ZR1s built in 2009, "around 1,000" for 2010....

No guaranties on collectability of either car. Buying either car is an very expensive ownership experience on a cost per mile basis, expect both to depreciate badly in first 3 years.

I had a chance to track a GT2 couple of week ago at Nelson Ledges Road Course in OHIO. Not just any GT2, but a 997 Switzer tuned 800HP GT2. The car is brilliant, feels so nimble, the brakes are sublime, go where you point it. LOVED IT. but I am not sure if I am willing to pay that price tag. I mean I would much rather get a 997 Turbo, because there are things you can do in a 997 turbo that you can't in a GT2.

I haven't driven a ZR1, but the steering wheel on those C6 Z06 is just numb compared to other sports cars.
