why is it sad. The car was built and designed during Japans Hay days and its already plenty over engineered . I am surprised to see that te supra pulled with no turbo lag. either that or the dude in the supra was holding the car at high rpm with the massive 1000 hp turbo spooled and ready to BOOST IT.
I am so impressed by the 2JZ-GTE as well as the RB26DETT from Nissan. They are the bulletproof monsters from japan that can be tuned to the teeth and handle massive power. The 2JZ and the RB motors can handle around 500 hp with stock internals

The 2JZ-GTE will go to 800 hp bone stock - even stock valve springs! Ask Ara Arslanian about it. That engine is so overbuilt from the factory it's just sick.
