Not sure how the CTSV qualifies? Huge brakes, angry exhaust note, and the car is slathered in chrome and mesh- looks very racey to me.

As for the topic at hand I would say...

The Rav4 V6 is actually a pretty good one
Tundra 5.7L 4x2 single cab (hold on to your panties)
4Runner V8
Chrysler 300 SRT8 (that's pushing it, I know)
04-06 Pontiac GTO (so bland looking, but has that beast of an engine)
Chevy Cobalt SS (looks fast, but nobody is expecting it to be as fast as it is for a FWD econocoupe)
335i (with so many 3 series on the street, most people aren't expecting it to go 0-60 in under 5 seconds)
IS 350 (same as above)

This one is stunning. I think the performance is under 6 secs.

I don't think the fact that most people don't really care about the difference between a standard CTS and a V makes it a sleeper. Same with the GTO. A car with 400+ h p isn't a sleeper.
A 335d with all that torque is a sleeper.

Exactly! Growing up, as a kid, (of course, that was a long time ago) A sleeper was a car that definitely wasn't stock, but looked like it was. It was a car that could unleash a can of wupass on you and you never saw it comin'.

Exactly, a sleeper is a car that when you pull up next to it and the guy in the sleeper gives you the thumbs up, you laugh and thinking he is joking. The light turns green, you hit the gas half way thinging thats all you need to do to pull ahead, the sleeper pulls away fast. Your eye lights up, you step on it 3/4 of the way, by now hes already 4 car length ahead. You say oh shiz and floor it, but by then it all over. Now thats a sleeper car

mercury cougar's I think 96-up(my wife has a 99 and im peelin out from the stoplight all the time without tryin!)

And the chrysler crossfire! I saw 1 humiliate 2 new vettes acouple years back! That car is the definition of sleeper! Yea it might look fast but you wouldnt believe how fast! Im surprised they weren't a best seller like the charger!

I would love 2 see how the is-f compares 2 it in a drag race!

I hear the SC430 is a pretty good highway missile cruiser. Many associate the SC430 as a grandpa's car, but I'm sure if its driven correctly it will surprise a few people.

How about the Audi RS6 wagon.

Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX 570, 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec makes a sleeper to me.
