Dude, you dont have to have a lexus here. I started out with one, then turned to the dark side. I had an Ultra Rare Lexus ES250 in Black Jade Metallic Pearl. I loved that car, but she met an untimely end.
As for your VW, sweet car dude. What part of TX you in? I hail from Ft Worth, Lake Country Estates in Lake Worth to be exact.

Do you have your own balancing and mounting machines, or just take your wheels/tires to a tire shop and pay them to mount/balance? (spin-balance machines, of course, have to be kept calibrated to be accurate, and the technicians skilled in their use, but that is not always the case at some shops). They sometimes don't get the tire mount right, either, with visible wobbles and runout and the inevitable shimmies.

My car already shimmies and wobbles on right turns because my driver side axle binds on itself due to how low it is and the angle it exerts on said axle. lol.
Sorry, I drive a econo-box that has an open differential, rear suspension that hasn't been changed in 20+ years of production (solid rear beam), front geometry that gets screwed up at with the slightest drop, 3000lb curb weight, and weight distribution that's terrible. I don't really think I'm all that concerned about the "performance" aspect of it all.
