Default top 10 pet peeve mods...

1) Window visors. Did that tidal wave of water really get blocked? What are people doing with their windows down in the rain in the first place? A/C or heater broken? No ashtray option?
2) Red-lipped rims. 1 to 1 scale Hot Wheels. Zoom zoom!
3) Amber fog lights. Weren't the 80's resting in peace?
4) Clear turn signals. Hey bud, sorry your car got backed into. Better luck next time.
5) Sunroof visors. Ruins smooth flow of roofline and adds a body wart.
6) Door edge guards. The world's most selfish product. "I'll save the edge of my door, but I'll dent the hell out of yours!" Also, if you are blind enough to pay $150 for accessories a dealer paid $7 for, you do not deserve a driver's license.
7) Carbon fiber hood. Because mismatched junkyard replacement body parts are oh so sexy.
8) Pin striping. See #3.
9) 22" rims on Chrysler 300's. Modern day AMC Eagle 4x4.
10) Exposed front bumper hook. Nothing saves the day more than being able to pull out tree stumps after the valet returns your car from dinner.

hilarous. I have to say I agree with you on most. Especially the window visors and the chrysler 300's on the 22's. Every ghetto clown has a 300 on 22's at stock ride height , and they all think they are gods gift to the automotive tuning scene. As far as the window visors, I just see them on to many pick ups and even JDM sports and luxury car and I think they make the car look cheap or awkward. I prefer the clean lines of the car without stick on plastic shti that is supposed to make the car look more "VIP"

This thread is asking for it ... half the things in the OP are popular mods around here.

Fizzboy, excellent list and I agree with 90%+. Window visors are seen so often on some really nice modded ISx50's, I have no idea why, lol.............. Sunroof visors pretty much have gone out of style thankfully.

And maybe we can add heavily blacked out taillights, I guess some people just like getting pulled over by cops for no really good reason.

i like the window visors. it serves a purpose. one reason is for those people who smoke. its to let the smoke out the car when it rains. another is for those people who want the fresh air while driving in the rain. when i had it on my old car i loved it for that reason.it just might be me but i love the smell of the rain. it almost smells sweet. my a/c worked very well. it was ice cold. another thing i found useful is on a hot day i would crack my windows open and no one would notice my windows are open. it kept my car cooler vs the windows up.

Please don't knock my CF hood. Or trunk. Or roof spoiler.

Personally, I think they look outstanding on my black car. However, I'm surprised you didn't mention a ginormous wing mounted to the trunk. That usually tops everyone's "Favorite Worst Mod".

when people black out their tailights. Great, reduce my ability to see you brake, thanks

the sunroof visor does help. My previous car had one and there was no turbulence or buffeting with the sunroof open. Now my IS, which doesnt have one, the wind buffets like crazy and I dont even use the sunroof
