I just saw one yesterday and saw how the LED tail lights and signals work. It is a cool feature, but you can get a sequential conversion for the 05-09 (and older too) and it looks much better with the regular bulbs. It has more of the sweeping effect. Plus when you hit the brakes it looks pretty slick.

As for the great sound of the engine - it probably has something to do with the sound tube that pipes some of the sound into the interior on purpose. They call it their Induction Sound Tube (IST).

The modern OHC V8's in Mustang GT's since 1996 have all sounded great, in many cases they sound better than Vettes, even without sound tubes.

I still cant see why anyone would buy a mustang over a Z. To each his own. I can understand the V8 for torque but the Z is just better made, designed , and set up for real sport driving , not just the qtr mile runs . I drove a V8 mustang a few years back and remember being impressed with the power and the torque, but the suspension was good for nothing above 6-7/10ths, and the steering was a numb mess. The worst part was the low rent interior. Although the new mustang is a nice improvement I still think its not evolved enough to get close to the Z in overall track performance, fit and finish, or looks (IMHO)

Note: Many of these legitimate concerns were addressed with the 2010 Mustang (including some improvement with interior, handling, steering feel). But it's still a very different car than the Z (2+2 versus 2 seater for one).
