Being a Subaru, and, especially, an Outback fan, I have a lot of respect for the Venza (I reviewed one a number of months ago) as one of the Outback's chief competitors, especially with the AWD option. But, in the posted one, I'm not a fan of that type of modding. The 24" wheels with rubber-band tires, IMO, are ludicrous (the stock 20-inchers are too large as it is), and I don't think the black-finish console trim is anywhere near as nice as the standard wood-tone. The blacked-out hood, though, is OK.......it gives a nice two-tone effect.

i been saying this for the longest, the Venza is what the RX should have been, "meaning the Venza look more Lexus while the RX looks more toyota" and im still a fan since i first seen it on super bowl commercial

Easily the best looking vehicle in the Toyota range. I remember reading about Toyota wanting to lower the stock height by about 1 inch because it was being classified as a SUV while Toyota built it to be a crossover wagon. It does look quite tall on the road, but I like it. Hopefully the rumor comes true for the new model year.

I think its te best looking vehicle on Toyota lots as well. I love the design features, size, and quality. I have aso read nothing but great things about the handling as well. With the 20" wheels the dads ca feel cool while carting the kids around

I def am becoming more a Venza fan, and am even considering one as my next vehicle. I got a chance to drive one briefly, and I quite enjoyed it. Of course, if i do buy one, I plan to mod the daylights out of it.

I liked the looks of the Venza too....and then I got in one.
I like the exterior look, but inside it is not even close to the RX.

Hopefully, Toyota has something...anything on the way to pick up this trend.

I'm a huge Toyota Venza fan. I'd take it over a RX350 right now anyway simply because IMHO it offers practically everything the Lexus does at a much cheaper cost. I am a former RX330 owner so a new RX is definitely not out of the question, but the Venza has a lot going for it. More sport, 20" rims, an interior that is just as good, probably better MPG, nearly the same HP, rides lower to the ground so the stance looks better.

Agreed, despite what the uninformed old timers thing about the 20's on this road-going machine. The tires have plenty of sidewall, large rolling diameter and shorter gearing to match. The tire/wheels are integrated into the design from the beginning which is the right way to do it.

The picture shows a Venza with 24" wheels so the stock 20's must have some side wall to allow for them to run that size wheel and stay close to the stock rolling diameter
