Lexus fans might remember about a year ago DRC Motorsports promised to bring a trio of IS-Fs to the ever popular Speed World Challenge Series in 2009.
At long last, Lexus fans were going to get a chance of addressing those pesky german fanboys questions of if the IS-F could run with the big boys.

After late season testing in 2008 proved promising, it seems the wheels fell off the proverbial apple cart sometime early this year, and the IS-F trifecta failed to make it to the 2009 starting grid at SWC. Publically nothing was heard of those imposing looking blue bullets that graced the track in 2008. That was until I looked around and found the cars just as they were back then, just this time they were for sale on a website to the highest bidder.

For just a mere $250,000 some lucky sole can now purchase the complete DRC team and take on the big boys in SWC and show them whose boss.

Here are the specs for any of you interested buyers might want to take up the challenge.

I was rooting for this team back in the day when I first saw them in GT race and looked them up. I eve started a post on them. Sad to see they are having issues

Lexus needs a team in ALMS. PPG should but this team and enter ALMS.
