Well let's break this down. The Veyron, IIRC, is about a 1.5 million dollar vehicle, right? So if instead you rented a 150k dollar low end Ferrari (1/10th the price) would 2500 dollars a day be reasonable to pay? Sounds pretty high to me. Let's go down by a scale of 10 again and ask for a 15k dollar econo car would 250 dollars a day be reasonable? Try 250 dollars a week, maybe, worst case scenario. Granted when somebody rents an econo car they're probably not looking to rag it out every second of the day and if they were maybe 250 dollars a day would be more reasonable.

I think I remember some rental agency that let you drive 6 or 8 exotic cars all in one day for 2500 bucks or something. Seems like a much better deal even if none of them are on par with the Veyron. If I was going to pay that much for a Veyron I better have access to a long straightaway with no speed limit!

Most rental car companies put a huge premium price on convertible vehicles... no idea why. It seems I typically can rent a 50k dollar car for less money per day than a 25k dollar convertible. Makes no sense to me at all!

They are charging 2.5 times more for their RR Drophead than they are for their regular Phantom. (I am sure the length of ownership is taken into consideration ofcourse.)
