That's kinda funny actually.... to have the ***** to tell a Porsche owner something so ridiculous... but I do like it, was at the dealership and aside from power thought it was nicer than my Sonata.... no new 2011 Sonatas on lot yet...

Hyundai has been designing similar shape for a while though. similar character lines, hexagon grill, and etc. started with talus concept in 2006, quarmaQ in 07, i-mode in late 07, and ixonic from 2008.
i-mode
this is ixonic.
I think it's more a 'trend' then a copy. hyundai is trying that grill for 4 years now. and side profile is very consistent with Equus, Sonata, Azera, and their recent concepts.
in person, it is just a handsome looking CUV. it didn't strike me as a copy. maybe it just me, but RAV4 is just very very plain. CRV is nice and my favorite over all, but it's weird. i hate it when it first came out, but it grew on me. and the rest is just another CUV. Tiguan looks good, but it's very expensive and frankly, it just a first gen toureg minime.

That CUV looks great!!! I do see the MB cluster similarities, but so what? I'm getting something that's similar for half the price. It's inevitable that cars are going to have similar looking features. Case in point the "Bangle butt" that everyone was knocking when it first came out, but is on America's best selling passenger car, the Toyota Camry. You don't hear anyone complaining about the Altezza inspired tail lights on the Altima either.
I just saw the Kia Sorrento on Motorweek (which I'm assuming is based on the same platform) and it looked just as good, although a little more plain Jane compared to the Tucson. They're definitely giving Rav 4 and CRV a run for the money.

The more pics I see of this new SUV the more I like it. It has that more contemporary design with high muscular fender lines that make the car look great
