I guess this is VIPStyle? Ruststyle? Eurotight? I have no idea...

Cars shows will now need "rust" categories.

That's one heck of a fashion statement if you ask me.

Looks good on the BMW... but boy would I be pissed if those vicegrips fell off and hit my car!

What's with the pliers next to headlights on the first pic? Did he forgot those or is it a part of the style ?

I wouldn't call it a trend. It's the same car (BMW 5) posted over and over again. If the car wasn't slammed on BBS then it would look like crap. I was going to say that it's original, but it's not even that. You can find better rusted cars in junk yards. ha ha. I think it would be better if someone tried a "wood" theme instead. So the color would be similar, but the metallic panels are replaced by wood or wood looking panels.

And those pliers are unacceptable. If it flies off while he is driving, he can crack a windshield or cause serious damage to other cars. What a tool.

His windshield is already cracked. So, I assume this has happened before....

A bit too earthy-looking for me.

Sent the pics to my buddy and he told me that he has met this guy and that this car is really something to see. The rust effect was produced with chemicals so its not deep into the metal.
