Is350 and sti vs genisis coupe (bros friend).

imo the 2is actually looks relatively sedate compared to the genesis coupe. compared against the the sti, it looks especially sedate.
the genesis coupe is similarly styled to the g37 sedan, but looks sportier (whether it actually is/isn't is another story, but i digress). while the back is styled similar to the tiburon of yesteryears, the front is a cross between the g37 coupe and the 2is. as most coupes do, they appear sportier and more aggressive.
and the sti... well, even the stock sti looks all business, with those widened fenders, hood scoop, and aerodynamic trim. it's not a pretty car, but it's not meant to be pretty when you're slinging it sideways. it gets the job done, and it looks the part.
the 2is - and especially the 2009+ MY - looks more refined than the 06-08 version. it doesn't scream all business like the sti, nor does it appear sportier than the genesis coupe. but both cars are in different classes (though the genesis coupe is creeping pretty close), and to make the kind of comparison that you're making is like comparing apples to oranges.
sorry, but you don't get an "amen", but that's just "imo".
btw, there are a few four-door sedans i can think of that look "better" than the 2is, but that's not to say the 2is is not a good looking car.

Yes the lexus isx50 seems sedate but also it looks aggresive. Have you looked at some of other four door sedans out there? I mean the 335i sedan, g37sedan, the genesis sedan, and the audi a4 does not even come close to the exterior look of the isx350. The mercedez c350 is the only 4 door sedan I can compare the isx50 to in its class that has good looks. The genesis coupe is sporty, but the coupe is not sportier than the infiniti g37. I do believe that the isx50 sedan looks sportier from the front than the genesis coupe (Comparing the isx50 to genesis coupe club members who also agree that the isx50 looks sportier). These are my opinions and weather or not I get a amen, I don't really care.
not that i don't respect your opinions, but i WILL disagree when i don't agree (duh). imo (and i stress that), "good looking" and "aggressive looking" rarely converges, especially when referencing a run-of-the-mill mass-production sedan - or car, for that matter. there are certain, rare cases, but those are far and few in between.
but i suppose you wouldn't care about that or anything else either, since you've got a case of near-sightedness and infatuation w/ your is350. just wait until the "honeymoon" ends...

too bad our 2is does not have the potential as both of the sti and the genesis. I imagine the genesis will have a huge buyers market to create a bundle of aftermarket options unlike our poor 2is... However, the looks department is another story...

i know/heard of most of the koreans around the philly, montgo, del county areas. i'm surprised i've never seen the sti or gen coupe. they're both great looking.
gotta go with projectdna though. i hardly think that the isx50 is an exciting looking car. out of the sedans, the c class and the audi a4 are the sleekest and sexiest looking. the is has good lines but as it has been mentioned, it's pretty sedate. stock for stock, the gen coupe and sti blow the is away in terms of looks. imo.

so let me get this right. you post a link to a pic of you/your brother's modded STI along with your is350, a few more threads of your brother's friend's genesis coupe, and didn't expect people - like me - to sound off? i think you're thoroughly confused about how an online forum works. then again, you're probably thoroughly confused about a lot of other things - for example, your... i mean... your brother's STI (oops) - but i digress.

Eh. Thats your opinion =D I think stock for stock against the sti, genesis coupe, and the isx50, the lexus wins hands down. The stock sti and genesis coupe are eh, okay but fitted with front lip kits and other modification like the pictures, then thats a different story. Yes I agree the c class is a extordinary piece of art but have to disagree with the a4. But thats your opinion so I will respect it. Im around montgomery county. Have you ever seen the sti or the genesis coupe in person close up stock? I think it will change your opinion =D.
STOCK STi.
In my opinion, very aggressive and mean looking.
STOCK Genesis Coupe
Again, aggressive looking IMO. Not as much as the STi per se, but still good looking.
STOCK ISx50.
Good looking car, but not really aggressive or mean looking. It's clean but sedate.
Any car that has mods to the exterior can be made to look good.

I like how you always bring " your... i mean.. your brothers sti" in topic. Stop trying to degrades others because you sound pathetic. I am just stating my opinion since you always seem to have negative views on the isx50. Isn't this a free country. Let me state what I want to without getting rammed up the a$$. Don't come up on the forum all hard because you ain't hard at all. Also read my post, im not "sounding you off", im just stating my opinions so don't get all emotional. Also all the threads that I post, you seem to degrade other people or better yet degrade me. Keep going with " your... i mean... your brother sti," cause that is getting old. And wtf is near-sightedness and infatuation? But yea if you have notice, I posted about 12 threads so I know how the online community or "threads" work. If you got no good things to say just shut it.
seriously though, don't take it personal that i don't agree with you, or you're getting ribbed by a few jabs. as you're a seasoned veteran with online forums you'll find that not everyone will share in your opinion, and not everyone has the same sense of humor or taste (or lack thereof).
again, i don't think that - stock for stock - the 2is has the best lines in the class, but it's close. compared to the other two cars that you've mentioned, it's certainly got better lines, but it's unfair to put it up against two modified cars.
and if you have any questions about my comments, feel free to respond or PM me.
My neighbor owns the gen coupe. Very good looking car.
STOCK STi.
In my opinion, very aggressive and mean looking.

Are you guys serious about the Sti? It's a nice looking car but "mean and aggressive" are words that do not immediately/initially come to mind when looking at it. I get more of a "boy racer" vibe from it at first glance.
Now on the other hand, I do think the hyundai genesis coupe looks rather aggressive and appealing. It's definitely the first hyundai that I actually considered purchasing when I was shopping in early '09.
Genesis coupe has the exterior, it has the performance. Now if they can up the interior luxury they will be just golden. It's certainly leagues ahead of the NEW TL.
The old TL was a fine looking car, they managed to **** it up completely with the new design.
