The speedometer/tachometer are right out of the 60's now I want a demo at speed of what button to push when you have 40+ buttons... That will kill them once and for all!!!
The problem with the speedometer, at least in the image you posted, seems to be not so much a "60's " vintage as much as the way that the large numerical figures are interspersed with big hash-marks in between. That, IMO, is confusing to read at a glance....and something that I might note in my upcoming 2010 LaCrosse review. And the tach is even worse.....the big hash marks in between the numbers stand for thousand RPMs + 500, not whole thousands like in a regular tach. I also agree the button panel is confusing at a glance. But the ice-blue dash lights, like on some other new GM products, are nice.
