Question Deals on Audi A5 or S5 PLEASE HELP.......

Hey Guys

I am trying to help a friend to buy either an Audi A5 or S5 I am just wondering what are some of the deal and discount I can negotiate with the dealer because it seems like A5 and S5 are not as rare as 4 or 5 months ago. I usually see each Audi dealer has 3 or 4 A5 and 2 or 3 S5 on their lot for sale. So please any Audi expert out there please help me out thanks.

Take care

KY

Did you see this post I started, the S5 is still pretty hard to get.

The best you can do right now in my region is about $1000 to $1500 off MSRP.

You might want to join Audiworld and post it there. Lots of talk and car-buying experiences.
From what I gather, the '09's could be had somewhere around or above invoice. The '10's are only getting a little off sticker. This is a bad time to buy any '10... they just arrived and supply and demand never allows low pricing. Anytime around Christmas and beyond will yield better deals.
Good luck!

Allocation is low and not only are new cars hard to find but the used S5 is keeping a very strong used car value....
From what I am seeing, S5 values are stronger than M3/C63/IS-F ones!

Not sure on the A5

From what people I know by people who have been shopping, some dealers had good months last month, presumably because of Cash for Clunkers, and for whatever reason think they are going to sustain sales and consequently not giving some of those "great" deals. With 2010 models starting to arrive and it getting later in the year I am sure that mentality is only going to last for so long. People will probably stop buying cars again because there are no more incentives for them to, then well I'm sure you'll be able to strike a pretty decent deal.

FWIW the Audi dealer nearest to me had like 4 or 5 A5s and a few S5s on their main lot, possibly more in the their storage area...? These were all '09s. I agree with those who have posted above, check out Audiworld as there is lots of good information there.
