I like the current M5 better because it looks more aggressive.

They are here where is BMW?

The M5 didn't debut immediately when the 5 series debuted, it took decades BMW came from VERY humble origins. The E12 didn't have a M5 now the 1800 before it. It took time.

Now all we need is a GS-F! Still an awesome M5, I'd still ride in a Audi RS6 though.

Wait, wait, wait, are those ACTUAL pictures of the new M5, or just renderings? Where is the official press release from BMW? To me, those look like renderings, not official photos.

Other than the camo'd car they are all renderings. Car won't be officially revealed until this fall with a spring '12 release.

Have to disagree, its still a 7 with some goodies.

Rapide is on another level.

Hell, for the price of the B7, I start thinking Panamera Turbo

v10 M5 ran by me last night, sound is just to awesome! cannot wait to see what this M5 is really up to

Sorry Russ, agree with J.P. here.

Like I mentioned in the Alpina thread for whatever reason the 7 series just doesn't have the wow factor imo. Pan TT, S63, Quattroporte yes....B7 no.

Don't expect for the F10 M5 to sound anywhere close to the E60 V10 J.P.

Rumour is that it will come with a TT V8 instead.

Sure it will still sound amazing!

But the v10 sounds just so nice when someone is laying on the pedal

I thought as much. Why is everyone so excited over renderings then ?

....
yeah, upon a bit of reflection, maybe not on the B7... but the Panamera does nothing for me...

With my love for AM, out those in this thread, I'd probably go Rapide .... but you could still get an M5 ($100K) AND a Cayman S ($75K)for the price of a Rapide ($199K)... but man is it SWEET!!!!!
