Yes. There is evidence that the quality/reliability of some M-B models is (finally) starting to improve again, but the damage done by many years of poor reliability is also (finally) starting to take hold in lower sales. The situation at Hyundai is exactly the opposite........their quality started to improve over 10 years ago, but public perception of the company still lags back in the late 1980's and early 90's; when Hyundai basically made junk.

Yes, I am going to laugh out loud..

The models you mentioned are not 'volume sellers'. These are niche vehicles... The type of vehicle that "answers the question no one asked" as touted by those who seek the bread & butter, predictable sort of vehicles..

If sales was the goal, the above mentioned vehicles would come with a ton of standard features like leather etc.. and be priced in such a manner that people would be at dealerships in droves to scoop them up..

Note: GLK is not a prime example, it's sales volume is near best in class of small premium SUVs, called "useless 'ute" by some on CHIT CHAT.
