Green as a paint color of a car
#17
I've owned a long series of green cars that closely approximated British Racing Green. Whether I bought them new, used, or had them painted that color, I've always loved the classic dark green, whether it is called "forest green", "green velvet metallic", "hunter green" or just "dark green", they are practically the same color whether on an old Dodge coupe, a classic Mustang, a Civic, or one of several cars that I had painted the color of an antique pool table. Green cars may go in and out of fashion, but it's a good bet I'll own another.

Yes, it looks black unless it's under bright sun light
I actually prefer the darker green paints more than the light greens for cars, & even then, it depends on what the model is.
A lime green sports car can look OK, but not for a sedan. I've seen lime green E-class taxi's & they don't look good at all ...

Green is also a popular color for hybrids. In fact, on some vehicle lines (the Ford Escape is a good example) green is available ONLY on the hybrid version.
One shade of green that I have always liked is the Tor-Lime Green (an extra-cost color) on the Dodge/Plymouth muscle-cars I grew up with in high school in 1969-70.
Here are a couple of examples:
