It wouldn't make sense for most people here (based on circumstances) to refuse to purchase a GM vehicle because so many other companies and major banks were bailed out as well. How many of us are still with banks and shop from companies and major retailers that were a part of the bail out, directly and indirectly?

Based on that alone, It wouldn't hinder my decision to purchase a GM vehicle. I think the Camaro is a great car for its price.

they were bailed out. but they have to return the money. Chrylser has already returned part of their loan.

but regardless, all of their products under $40000 are yuck and suck.

The only vehicle that I'd consider getting is a truck. For the time being, a car purchase is out of the question.
