Sept. 24, 2009 - For the last few years, Lexus has had a prominent presence at Las Vegas' aftermarket extravaganza SEMA Show. The carmaker's stand-alone exhibition area and adjacent mini-test track for the 2007 and 2008 shows saw Lexus models modified into unique, one-off works of automotive art and craftmanship by such companies as Five Axis, Fox Marketing & Artisan Performance, MotoworldHype, 0-60 Magazine and Import Tuner Magazine with TEIN. And now, for 2009, your Lexus may well join this select list.

Yes, Japan's leading luxury marque is looking for the most innovative, modified vehicle to showcase in their display area at SEMA. If you think your Lexus is SEMA-worthy, e-mail the company some photos and they may decide that, indeed, it deserves to join the rarified ranks of the elite creations that have previously graced the Lexus display. If you are the chosen one, Lexus will bring you and your ride out for the show, which, this year runs from Monday 2 thru Friday 6 November.

To submit your Lexus for consideration, email three photos in jpg format, a list of modifications and your contact information to lexus.sema@teamone-usa.com. This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Submissions must be received no later than Thursday 8 October 2009 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. on a side note, i was approached by a sema vendor to be the first 2010 RX450h with the new branew bodykit in north america for the upcoming sema show. I had to turn it down unfortunately.

The Branew Co. is shipping a few of their cars from Japan to be displayed at SEMA 2009 this year. It will be through VIP Auto Salon.

most of the cars at SEMA are a bit over done for the streets in most cases. Cosmetics is one thing but the 900 lbs of stereo stuff is lame. I have seen the Lexus vehicles at SEMA. Some are over the top and well done while others are just stock cars with a drop and set of wheels. In the end any car with that standard formula of wheels and stance will be the right car. Body kits will only help IMO

the guy that contacted me was patrick from bulletproof automotive. guaranteed that branew would not be shipping over a RX450h; branew wanted to install aftermarket rims on my RX (assuming i accepted the sponsorship).

I didn't see any stipulation, but my guess is that Lexus is looking for current model Lexus vehicles... Ryan, can you clarify this?
