Exclamation GT-R by Switzer vs. Modded ZR-1...!!!

YES... I posted it!

Simply breathtaking for Godzilla to accelerate out of the hole or from a roll and rev/shift so quickly while keeping it's power band at maximum. Simply ricockulous!

You guys are noticing that when the GT-R shifts it's not slowing down whatsoever right? I've witnessed some badarse races in person (and been in a few) but this car and the way he modified it is just incredible.

yeah, the shifts are amazingly fast. no way you can manually shift faster than that.
i'd still take a true stick over DSG though.

Likewise. Love all the new tech and its unfortunate manuals are slowly going away but its just way more engaging. Whats even more annoying, Ive noticed some companies charging more for a manual.

Switzer makes a ridiculous 997TT upgrade as well!

I still prefer a real manual sports car, unless the transmission really sucks ...

I don't care if DSG can shift faster than me, I don't get trophies or awards winning any races or getting a faster track time, but manuals are more fun and engaging

Now THAT is just absurd and wrong.

I personally like technology and how it is being incorporated into cars. I've driven a couple auto-manuals and like them alot. This Nissan's though is incredible. Just listening to the shifts and seeing that the car doesn't lose ANY momentum during shifts.

Wow! Those are two freakin' incredibly fast cars.

It always amuses me when I see vehicles like this being tuned/modded. Like a stock GT R or especially a stock ZR 1 aren't fast enough already?

Just for your info, Switzer has an updated package, P850, that car was shipped to the client quite a bit ago, but its still stuck in customs somewhere.

I hope to see videos of that car soon.

I agree that its unsafe to race like that, but you have to understand, they have no drag strips in Russia, so they are going to do it where they can.

The GTR is the new gold standard for performance tunable cars. The vettes engine is almost 150% the size of the GTR's motor and is boosted as well. God I cant stand people who bad mouth this car. They look so stupid when they try to tear down a car that can do what I just saw. Truely amazing. I am not saying the vette wasnt fast but it had a larger motor and is boosted. It also comes with a lot more HP stock. In tuned form the GTR still weighs in at 500lbs more than ZR1 and had a 2nd passenger filming in the GTR
