Car & Driver: Faked - Chevy II vs BMW X6M photo

Turns out the owner of the car, a 1963 Chevy II (not a Nova), didn't know a thing about it, wasn't present when it happened and wasn't involved in any way. He wasn't even asked if they could use an image of his car. In fact, he's pretty pissed because he knows his car will walk all over the X6 (9.90 @ 135 vs 12.8 seconds @ 110mph) besides the fact that the photo in question was a complete photoshop fabrication.

Anyone remember their A6 3.0T vs 535i vs M45 vs XF vs E350 comparison? They had a picture there of all cars together on some exotic terrace - and the shadows and lighting on the cars looked totally off - very photoshopped.

Yup. I'll confirm it. It's in my issue of C&D. It's quite sad especially with the moonroof part. lol...dragging with it open.

LOL.. Hell, they could place the X6M next to the space shuttle . There is no denying the performance of this machine.. It already rivals the IS-F & M3 in performance! The vehicle they tested did not even have the launch control.. With launch control, the 0-60 times will drop to 4.1 along with quarter mile times... Insane...
