8. Isuzu VehiCROSS
The outrageous Isuzu VehiCROSS two-door SUV, whose extreme styling drew varied reactions, lasted from 1999 to 2001, and even that's surprising. The fanglike grille uprights made it look like it would eat you, which was scary mainly because inside the VehiCROSS was a place no one wanted to be. Headroom was minimal, and the low roof blocked even shorter drivers' view. If the noisy cabin didn't get to you, the punishing ride would. Isuzu deserved credit for taking a chance then on a design likely to find more admirers now, and it deserved scorn for a 2001 sticker price that would be just as preposterous in the current market. The VehiCROSS cost $30,350 by the time it fired up its interplanetary drive and went back where it belonged.

the car was made for rally raid, sorta like the Pajero Evo. Won Paris-Dakar in it's class, and I think won A LOT of recognition and award world wide.
Considering the low production number and the halo like position, i think it's an awesome car. I would LOVE to own one.

-Replaced the windows motors over 9 times
-The brakes were way too small and would overheat easily (Stopping that boat was pretty bad too)
-3.9L V8 was overweight and underpowered - Not to mention the intake system on that thing, it like wrapped around the whole engine bay before you even were on the right track from the Filter to the throttle body
-The overall design inside the car was fair, but the materials sucks.
-Replaced alternator and battery twice
Alot more to list, but I'm tired of remembering.
All within 30K miles btw.

The Lincoln LS was a good-looking car, but I owned a 2002 Sport model awhile back...

Frankly the Aztek should have been #1 hands down. Which other car on that list was so depised that dealers kept them in the back? GM had to send a directive saying that dealers could not HIDE the car! They FORCED their executives to drive around in them. The Aztek contributed almost single-handedly to the downfall of Pontiac. It was voted Ugliest Car of ALL TIME!

"Yo Smart Fourtwo, I'm really happy for you, but the Aztek was the worst car of all time. One of the worst of all time!"

Maybe add in Chrysler Aspen, Lexus SC (sorry), Ford Freestyle, VW Routan, VW Phaeton, Subaru Tribeca, Mitsibishi Eclipse, Mitsubishi Raider, Honda Element, Nissan Quest, Ford Ranger, Infinti Q45, Chevy Impala, and Chevy Malibu Maxx. Some of these are/were good cars, but did not sell well.

For comparison in 2002 I had a Toyota Highlander and in 3 years/51K miles the only defect was a brake light bulb.

Why the Lincoln LS? It was, IMO, a pretty nice vehicle....and, in general, was more reliable than its Cadillac Catera/CTS competition, though TJW98LS, above, may not agree.
