yeah, i believe that was a Z8, the others were classics and i know nothing about them. this place has all exotics, but this apollo was crazy. it's height barely made it to my waist. i didn't even care to look at the lambos, ferraris, maseratis, etc.
Awesome! That Apollo you're looking at is currently the fastest closed-cockpit production car around the Nurburgring North Loop in the world.
are you serious? a sales guy told me the maker of this car claims it can be driven upside down if a driver would volunteer to do it. man, i can't stress how this car stood out from the about 100 damn nice cars at this place. there were maybachs, bentleys, gt3's, etc but this car floored me. i'll go back tomorrow and take decent pics. i forgot the name but it's in westbury (long island) NY.

Yup . There are only two production cars faster around the Nurburgring. They are the Radical SR8 and SR8LM, both open-cockpit cars.
The Apollo is faster around the 'Ring than all other closed-cockpit production cars in the world, including the Viper ACR, Ferrari Enzo, GT-R, and Pagani Zonda F, and GT-R.
I think it was one of the fastest cars ever tested on Top Gear, but I dont think I can get over the name and the fact that the seats are not adjustable ( at least not on the one used to film the Top Gear episode). They said the designers didnt want drivers to mess with its perfect weight distribution. Uncompromising cars like the Gumpert make the Ferraris look like they are for playboy posers.
