Post Singer 911 - A classic Porsche with modern running gear

Under the rear decklid is an air-cooled 3.82-liter flat-six sporting six individual throttle bodies. With a GT3 crankshaft and titanium connecting rods, the powerplant spins eagerly to 8,000 RPM. The engine sends 425 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque to a proper Getrag G50 six-speed manual transmission. According to the engineering team, the 2,400-pound Singer 911 will sprint to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is in excess of 170 MPH.

I remember seeing this a while back. Nice job. This is what I would like to see more. Keep the outside the same just update some of the parts on the inside.

Very nice, but I still would like stability control and ABS for peace of mind. The big air cooled sixes sounded so good...........

I would rather a modern GT3 RS for the technology and the safety. This thing is like sticking a rocket between your legs. Its insane power but the chasis will shred in a big accident. 2400 lb car with 425 hp is no damn joke and I dont think 20-30 year old crash safety is going to give me the peace of mind I require to go ***** out in my cars

This car is insane! I love the idea and would love to wring this thing out on a track - as stated above, it may be a little too extreme for the street but damn it would be an absolute blast.

I'd own this car for sheer performance, not safety. But then again if I had this car, it'd be on the track all the time, not carrying groceries for me.

that car's got to be so 'tail happy' it's not funny...
neat car, but probably not for the faint of heart to drive!
