I'll respect your opinion, that you don't think that the way Kia did it on the 1Gen Amati was very classy, but the three cars that the 1Gen model copied in combination (Mercedes E-class, Jaguar S-class, and Lincoln Town Car) were considered classy styling by most car reviewers. I think your objections to it seem to be in how Kia closely combined the elements, rather than the elements themselves.

Cool pics, but still eeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Maybe it looks better at night.

Agreed, it's the overall look that I object too. Very few truly original designs today from even the best of car companies.

But I respect opinions of others too.

i think that's exactly what they're going for.

they're not going for the "hey look at me. i'm a kia!!".

they just want an appliance that blends in, and doesn't look too bad.

What is appliance like about it? It looks fine, its curvacious it has some style to it.

It doesn't look "bland" to me. Are we looking at the same vehicle?

The Amanti has always copied the look of a Jaguar. On that note, the Koreans really need to get their own styling cues... this is getting old.

Nice. And did I see some trick DRL's in the upper portion of the headlights? I think they have a winner there, especially when compared to previous Amanti.
