may not be that difficult to get pre-owned though? the last time i was in vegas on business i had a few hours and browsed the lamborghini dealership; and they had a few of spykers, not sure if they were new or not but looked to be. the craftsmanship appears to be top notch and they are unique and stylish for sure. and they do utilize audi engines.

One of the main problems associated with buying a used supercar is basically that you're in open water, especially if you're in Canada and buying a used Spyker. The only dealership here is in Calgary, Alberta, which is more than 2 days' drive away from where I live iirc. I honestly don't know who would be authorized to work on a Spyker here in Montreal... but one thing is for certain, special cars like these you get rid of when the warranty is over, or make into garage queens. Koenigsegg are notoriously unreliable but yet they use very, very reliable AMG-sourced engines.
