I'd get one if I have money, just for the hell of it.

Typical BMW owner. Even though I agree with his points in post #21. His garage is not that impressive, Maserati Coupe's can be had for $40k nowadays because they're basically falling apart, and the 911 Turbo is just a plain old awful choice. I personally think this man is just blowing all his money on cars and probably lives in a middle-class suburban neighborhood like most supercar owners I know (like me).

And Bimmerfest isn't exactly known for its hospitality. That place is a shark tank.

Exactly what I was thinking. Probably what happened with the Cayenne.

The 4 cars were worth (at original MSRP) more than the house.

But back on topic, nicely done version of the ugly X6.

96K? That is nuts for that thing. A nice new S-class can be had for such an amount, which is a classy ride.

The whole car just looks unproportional. The wheels and body style just don't really fit IMO.. Lowered with bigger rims it may look better..

The X5 M-sport package with same equipment (roughly) runs $74K with a little better mileage but better rims (IMO) and 3rd-row seating with better towing and off-road capability... much better value while losing 2 seconds 0-60 (4.5 vs 6.5) plus performance so it's all in what you want...

....the BMW SAVs and SACs are friggin' expensive no matter how you look at them... is there anything practical about any vehicle over $40K?????

This is it Russ? I can see you in this vehicle man..

Yes the BMW SAV's are a pretty penny. Once you drive them and examine the underpinnings vs. the competion, one will realize that it is money well spent.

The X5 & X6 do not drive the same as there are some differences in the underpinnings between the two. The X6 is the better drive

+1

Aztek with a Z06 type motor and suspension pieces = FAIL (IMO)

The more I read about this vehicle (not sure exactly what to call it...) the more I like it. Sort of reminds me of when the CLS first came out as the 4 door coupe; this X6 and the X6M in particular remind me of a coupe-SUV/SAV hybrid of sorts.

I wasn't too fond of this vehicle when it first came out because I wasn't sure what to think of it. Now though, I still dont love it, but am certainly starting to like it more and more.

So much truth behind post 21... haha
