I think its a great device. In AZ because its legal a lot of the cops will try to use laser to nail us. I think its only fair to know when you are being watched

just back from my vegas trip. chp is on zero tolerance whole weekend and my radar picked up everyone of them -- probably like 6-7. can't be happier about my v1... i was driving fast and i got a few cars stuck behind me coz' they saw me having a radar and wanted me to cover for them...

I usually cruise at 10-15 over so I need coverage. We see less cops o the freeways here but only because they have radar enforcement areas all over the city highways/freeways. It sucks

What's your feedback/observations on laser warnings in AZ?

(In CA it's mostly KA radar which is easy to detect because the CHP is usually too lazy to use in instant-on mode.)

In Pennsylvania, only State Troopers are allowed to use radar. Local municipalities are forced to use a stopwatch and 2 painted lines on the road. So if you don't travel much on state highways, a detector is a waste of money.

I had one in high school, and it saved my a$$ a number of times (and also almost got me busted--they were illegal in CT at the time, and a cop pulled up behind me and saw the lights going--I got off with a warning).

I used a radar detector alot when I first started driving, and it saved me a couple times. Now I live in Virginia, and radar detectors are illegal here, so I don't use one, but if I build or get a fast car like a Supra turbo, I will get one installed to be completely stealth.
