Sorry but I like the current Bangle 5 much better than this. BMW was too understated pre-Bangle. Sitting next to other high end cars they looked out of place. The Bangle stuff added some flair to the designs. Now they are going back to understated....meaning plain Jane.

This is a very conservative design compared to all those spy pics photoshops with (Very Busy design) w/ creases all over the place ala MB. Very clean & nice lines. Classy.

i have to admit i like how this looks so far, its similar to the new 7-series but somehow looks sharper, the new 7 is too bland, specially the rear with the huge and undefined bumper.
i guess the same design seems to be working better with the 5 dimensions.

I've always been in awe of the 5 series, but this one doesn't really do it for me. IMO, the front end just seems to "lifted" and takes away from the horizontal aggressiveness from the current 5.
