Not true. That will always be a BMW and couldn't be mistaken for anything else... especially a Camry. BMW seems to treat their designs the way Porsche does... small evolutionary steps in styling. The bigger refinements are in the chassis and driving dynamics. It will probably be the same with this. Small step ahead in terms of styling but a bigger step ahead in driving character.

really? except for the front face, i dont agree at all... I think new 5 series looks great but see it in passing by and you wont know what car it is from the profile.

That 3 profile pic is very generic, remove the shark fin and it could be anything on the road.

generic bmw? or generic car in general?
cuz i can tell it's a bmw.
i can't think of any other car that looks like it.

distinct hoffmeister kink, tail lights. can't be mistaken. Maybe some will confuse a 5 and 3 series. but no one should mix it up with a japanese car.

I'm not so impressed with the look in those pictures. Then again I didn't really like the current generation 3 for a while; it only recently started growing on me. I think what turns me off is the protruding taillights, it's still too early to tell.

Excluding the M3, the 3 series is an entry level, very pedestrian, dare I say "run of the mill" car. What's all the excitement about???
