Default On the brink of buying a supercharged NSX in Louisville

I am probably going to drive back a 94' Brooklands Green NSX with a Comptech Supercharger next week. I know some members on here that are on Prime too. I am pretty excited as I have been waiting to be an NSX for a year or two now. My one concern is the color. The price is so good is hard to pass up. The car is listed at $28,500. It is a pretty good deal. Any thoughts?

Here is the link to the ad. You can see the pictures related to it. The car had a compression test done and came out with flying colors. This will complete my garage for a little while.

Green looks good, not really digging the black rims though as they blend in with the dark green too much and just don't look right. How much hp is the supercharged NSX making? I would try to get him down a little like around 25K or 26K since it is 15 years old. I would also take it to an NSX specialists if you can find one or a Acura dealer/mechanic and have a thorough inspection performed.

It needs lighter colored rims.

The blue book on it is between 25-27 or so. I can part it out and sell the supercharger alone for $7,000 bucks. I will try for $26,000 though. Right now it is putting down about 350whp on low boost and the nice exhaust setup he has. The hi boost pulley, plus upgraded fuel injectors and tune will get it up to 420whp or so. Not too shabby for a 2900 lb. car. I actually like the black rims. I have a pair of gunmetal Advan RS wheels on my 335i. Believe me when I say this, it is rare to find a NSX for sale with a CTSC(supercharger) for less than $38k. The NSX holds its value pretty well. Go check out KBB.com and look at some examples. I was shocked how much they price at now.

I like that color combo on the NSX

I read Prime alot as I would someday like to own one of these fine cars. And I just realized as I reread the ad you linked that I saw your thread (at least I'm thinking that was you now ) in the perpective buyers etc thread.

I agree the car looks good and has some great mods. Did you get anyone local to check it out for you?

It's a really good deal with the CTSC. You're right, you can part the 2 mo. old autorotor CTSC for $7k.

Btw, hi boost on an NA1 will not get you over 400 rwhp. I'd expect about 380 rwhp with a hi boost setup.

The reason I say it would be 400 is with the exhaust that is catless and such. You might be right though. It could be tough to get there with a NA1. I will double check with a dyno if I get it.
