Default will this fake stick on wood crap come off easily!?!?!?!

nice way to f-up a car....

I'm interested in this car but that crap would have to go.

Depends on what is underneath the overlay. If it's painted plastic, it's probably going to take the paint off with it.

No Prius II....and your best bet maybe another overlay, like a silver one rather than peeling it off

nah, that stuff looks like its 1/8" thick already adding more would look just terrible.

I'm thinking -- sand with a fine grit sandpaper then lite coats of a hi quality paint.

OR let it sit in the hot sun all day (summer) then try to remove.

You, my friend, need a heat gun; heats up way more than a hair dryer but essentially works the same. Heat guns melt everything.
