The driver in the video didnt even bother to stop and see if he could help. Punk. He just cruises buy and once he passes the wreckage he just nails it.

I am more surprised to see no warning signs for the drivers coming into that section of the track.The car's brakes should be amazing to slow down the car in that distance.

I'd love to know the specifics and speed of the crash. The track was destroyed for a very long stretch. Amazing that the driver survived...definitely a testament to the safety improvements of modern vehicles.

An estimation of M3 speed at time of collision as somewhere near the mid-100s is probably accurate, even for an E36. Mero in the ZR1 during the record time run took the bend at nearly 180mph. It's good that the driver survived.
By the way, I had thought that during public sessions, the cars typically enter near Antoniusbuche... has this changed recently?
