You never get a 2nd chance at a 1st impression period rushed or not!
Unbelievable Fail!
The key is still not to show that the job was rushed, the **** poor craftsmanship (if you want to call it that) shows thru out the car, you might as well missed SEMA than end up being taking as a joke and laughing stock of the show. They look like clowns to match the circus color they picked for the car, SEMA is where the best of the best show their chops and this is what they come up with?! Clearly this company has no shame nor can be embassrised showing up with missing parts, poor fitting parts and can't even wipe the car down better than an 8 yr old.

Wow how pathetic. The hood is so bad a fitment that I thought it was a vent. If I was Hotwheels I would charge them with a fine for defamation of charator....or something.

Incredibly ugly, impossibly poor quality, an embarrassment to anyone who has ever modded a car. Tell me this was a middle school shop class project.
When I was a kid, a guy who lived near my high school chrome plated a pair of Electrolux vacuum cleaner cannisters and mounted them on the rear fenders of his '50 Chevy to look like rocket packs. I think this Chevy finally after all these years, has managed lower the bar for shade-tree bodywork.

I remember seeing the Hot Wheels/Super Street Honda Civic Si in person and the car looked pretty much the same as the Camaro and Mustang. I made a comment about it and the guy at the booth said that built two of them. One for magazine and press ads, and the other for dimensions and to take apart as many times as necessary. Subsequently, the fitment and finish of the car at the show was on par with these two. With that being said, I doubt that this is the case with these two... But apparently, it's a trend with the cars that Hot Wheels requisitions to be built and then displayed.
Either way... this is a crappy story for the owners of these cars...

hi, Im the person that took the original pics at SEMA and thought you might want an update; FYI this is not an isolated incident and everyone should stay clear of Ernie and Hard Core Muscle in Santee, CA.
here is more info and pics; worth taking a look at and I will update again shortly as HCM butchered this poor car:

The owner of that shop should be ashamed . If we are talking about it I am sure there were many in the SEMA community that noticed as well. If you arent going to take SEMA seriously then dont go
