Abu Dhabi's police force has unveiled its latest weapon in the fight against crime - a Nissan GT-R.

The car, painted in the colours of the United Arab Emirates' flag, is entirely standard apart from the addition of a siren system.

That means 478bhp at 6400rpm, 434lb ft of torque at 3200 rpm and a 0-60mph time of 3.8sec.

interesting...but when it's chasing the likes of Veyrons, Enzos and Zondas, can this little puppy keep up.

is this going to be the official car for the entire squad? because if it is, then it must be nice to be a cop over there. But if this is for those one time, then the Italian Polizia still has one up with their Gallardo.

 

i wonder if the police version still has the r-mode limitation where it wont unlock the full potential of the car unless its at a racetrack

 

With the type of cars they have out there they will need a GTR just to keep up let alone to capture the 18 year old kid in a 500k Italian powerhouse

The colors isn't supposed to have the colors of the UAE flag, they forgot about the green . all Abu Dhabi police cars are Red and white. I don't know what they mean by the checkers flag (black and white).

Oh and we don't have cool police cars for Dubai. lol

but theres a mini firetruck, or I can say firecar. which is the Corvette

I have a feeling a police force somewhere around the world going to get an LFA for some sort of reason.
