one other thing... the new 7, this A8, and the new E are VERY conservative - must be a new german styling trend. maybe the economy means they don't want to be so flashy.

it does look like an stretch A4, but the A4 looks more aggressive, i'll gladly take last gen. i dont see why everybody mad
, the whole BMW sedan line, looks the same, 3 5 7. the C-class and the S, LS and the Camry? XF and XJ? all oversized flagship has a smaller silbing look a like, is that a bad thing?

has nothing, NOTHING on this...
and especially this...
Also, not to mention that the LS is the flagship of LEXUS, not TOYOTA, so following your logic, the IS/ES should look like a tiny LS... Is that really the case? The XJ doesn't look like the XF and it'll be a stretch to say that the S is a stretched C, sure there are similarities but they are NOTHING compare to Audi and BMW from the pictures shown above.

as a Audi owner and fan,, this A8 is very disappointing!!!!!! the design sucks.. i think the designers at Audi are getting lazy.. this is a longer A4/A5... the last A8 was a beauty and yes, it hard to follow perfection but dam.. can't you just show a little effort...

A4 - 211/258
328i - 230/200
C300 - 228/221
IS250 - 204/185
not bad for a 2.0T engine.
The S4 competes with the 335i, C350, etc...

I don't like the tail lights on the current A4; now the A8 has them. I usually love most of Audi's cars, but I think they missed the mark on this one. It's not terrible by any means, just not pretty.
